Dallas Cowboys Victory Over the Super Bowl Champions Compared to Ric Flair Quote

Early in 2014, Ric Flair expressed his hate for the Dallas Cowboys while speaking at a San Fransisco 49ers team meeting. Flair stated, "Everyone loved the 49ers, I hated the Cowboys." After the Dallas Cowboys defeated the defending Super Bowl Champions on October 12, 2014, Ric Flair was quoted by DallasCowboys.com Nick Eastman in an interview with Chase Williams, expressing how beating the Seahawks 30-23 in Seattle equates to "beating the man" with a Wooooo!

IMPACT WRESTLING moves to Wednesdays on Spike TV

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Aug. 20, 2014) – TNA President Dixie Carter issued the following statement:

“IMPACT WRESTLING will remain a vital part of Spike TV's programming on Wednesday nights, 9/8c, through the end of the year. Negotiations remain ongoing beyond this time frame.”

In an earlier press release this month, Carter said, “Moving IMPACT WRESTLING to Wednesday nights gives existing fans and new viewers an opportunity to enjoy both wrestling and live sports even more throughout the week.”

Brock Lesnar defeats John Cena at Summerslam

Brock Lesnar's victory over John Cena at the twenty-seventh annual SummerSlam on August 17, 2014 won him the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The match lasted 16 minutes and saw Lesnar dominate Cena for the majority of the match. Since returning to WWE in 2012, Lensar has defeated John Cena, CM Punk, The Big Show, Triple H, and The Undertaker.

Since 2012, Lesnar's only losses occurred in the month of April, losing to John Cena in 2012 and Triple H in 2013.

As of August 7, 2014, the TNA World Heavyweight Champion is Lashley (Franklin Roberto "Bobby" Lashley). He was awarded the belt after defeating Eric Young on the June 19th edition of Impact Wrestling, held in Bethleham, Pennsylvania. Lashley is the 16th professional wrestler to hold the TNA Heavyweight Championship.

Warrior passes away at 54 years old, just days after being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame

Born James Hellwig on June 19, 1959, the Warrior passed away on April 8, 2014, at the age of 54.

Warrior is best remembered by WWE fans for his April 1, 1990 match against Hulk Hogan, at WrestleMania VI.

Below is a clip from Warrior's last public appearance in Professional Wrestling, one day before his death. You, you, you, you, you," he said, pointing to the fans, "are the legend-makers of Ultimate Warrior."

Hulk Hogan to Host the 30th edition of WrestleMania (Video)

Hulk Hogan returns to the WWE for the first time in seven years to host WrestleMania 30, which will be held April 6 in New Orleans. Before his hosting duties in New Oreleans, Hulk Hogan will appear on Monday Night Raw on Monday, February 24. This will be his first time appearing for the WWE since 2007, when he appeared on the 15th anniversary of "Monday Night Raw."

Hogan is a six-time WWE champion and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005.

On the Jan. 27, 2014, edition of Raw, Roberts was announced as the second inductee in the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2014.

Jake joined the WWE in 1986 and faced many top professional wrestlers, including Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Ted DiBiase, Randy Savage, Ricky Steamboat, Honky Tonk Man, King Kong Bundy, Rick Rude, Andre the Giant, Bad News Brown, Earthquake, Owen Hart, and Steve Austin.

One of Jake's best matches occurred on August 28, 1986 in Toronto, Canada during the Canadian-only pay-per-view, The Big Event.
